Build precision components for the U.S. Military and critical domestic industries, at a veteran-owned, family-owned shop where the work matters.

Who You'd Be Joining

Veteran-Owned.
Made in USA.

You’d be joining a small, veteran-owned crew of fabricators, welders, machinists, and quality pros who take the work personally. New Tech Metals is owned and run by the Blackman family, so the people you work beside are the people accountable for the outcome: no distant board, no corporate layers. The parts built here support soldiers, first responders, and the equipment that keeps the country moving, and everyone on the floor builds them like it matters.

Why NTM

A Shop Built on Four Things

Pillar · 01

Veteran Discipline

We bring the precision and accountability of military service to every part we fabricate.

Pillar · 02

Family-Owned Ownership

Decisions are made by the people who built this shop, not a distant board. Long horizons, real commitments.

Pillar · 03

Pride in Workmanship

Every weld, cut, and finish is signed by the operator who made it. Quality is personal, not a check-box.

Pillar · 04

Mission-Critical Purpose

What we build supports soldiers, first responders, truckers, drivers, and equipment operators. The work matters.

What We Look For

Craftspeople Who Care.

Defense buyers don't tolerate "close enough." Neither do we. If the qualities below sound like the way you work, reach out.

  • Precision-minded craftspeople who care about tight tolerances
  • Experience with metal fabrication, welding, machining, or precision inspection
  • Comfort reading drawings, TDPs, and engineering specs
  • A bias toward quality over speed when the two conflict
  • Veterans and military-affiliated candidates strongly encouraged to apply
  • A team-first mindset, defense work is shipped together, not solo
Military & Veterans

Service translates to the shop floor.

Discipline, attention to detail, accountability under pressure, the skills you developed in uniform are the same ones that build mission-critical components. NTM was founded by veterans and remains veteran-owned. If you've served, you'll find people who speak your language here.

Common Questions

Quick Answers For Applicants.

Q · 01

What roles does NTM hire for?

NTM hires precision-fabrication craftspeople: welders (AWS-coded), CNC machinists, press brake operators, laser / turret operators, quality inspectors, and assemblers. We're always open to talking with experienced fabricators even when there's no specific posted role.

Q · 02

Where is NTM located?

New Tech Metals is located in New Franken, Wisconsin, in the Northeast Wisconsin / Fox Valley manufacturing corridor, near Green Bay. The shop is on-site, in-person work. These are hands-on fabrication roles, not remote.

Q · 03

What's the work culture like at NTM?

Veteran-disciplined, family-owned, and pride-of-workmanship driven. Decisions are made by the people who built the shop, not a distant board. Every weld, cut, and finish is signed by the operator who made it. Quality is personal, not a check-box.

Q · 04

Does NTM hire veterans?

Yes, strongly. NTM is a veteran-owned business and military-affiliated candidates are explicitly encouraged to apply. The discipline, attention to detail, and accountability that come from military service translate directly to defense-grade fabrication work.
